Privacy notice

This site asks you for no data at all: there is no published form, no sign-up, no logged-in area, no tracking cookie and no audience measurement. Even so, personal data is processed for visitors who only pass through — your IP address — and the next section says where, when and why. To reach Navigare there are two direct channels, WhatsApp and email; what you write in them is your data too, and it is described here as well.

Who processes your data

The controller of the data described here is Navigare, the company that publishes this site and decides what is collected and what for.

Data protection officer: data subject requests and questions about this notice are received at contato@navigare.com.br. It is the same address the site publishes in its contact section.

What we collect, and why

No field is asked of you on this site. What exists is the technical minimum of delivering a page, plus whatever you choose to write through one of the two direct channels. Nothing is bought, enriched from external sources or matched against any other database.

What is processed, and when:

  • Your IP address, on every visit to any page. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, records request data in its own operational logs, as any hosting provider does. This happens before and independently of any contact from you, and it is the only processing that exists for someone who merely reads the site.
  • What you write on WhatsApp, if you choose that channel. The conversation happens on WhatsApp infrastructure, owned by Meta, under its own privacy policy — which is not ours and which we do not control — and it reaches the Navigare business account together with the phone number you wrote from.
  • What you write by email, if you choose that channel. The message goes straight to the inbox of the Navigare sales team, with the address it came from. This site does not sit in the middle of that: the link simply opens your own mail program.
  • Two preferences that stay in your browser and never leave it on their own: your light or dark theme and your language. Both are described in the last section.

Legal basis

Your IP address is recorded because the server has to receive a request and return a page — it is the minimum any hosting provider does, and it is not used to profile you, to measure audience or to build a mailing list.

The processing of what you write, on the other hand, starts with you: the data only reaches us because you decided to write to us, and it is used only to answer what you asked. You can ask us to stop processing and to delete the data at any time, through the channel given under "Your rights", with no need to give a reason.

The article 7 basis of the LGPD supporting this processing has not yet been determined: it will be published in this section as soon as Navigare's legal counsel settles it. Until then, the two guarantees above are what you can hold us to — and they do not depend on which basis it turns out to be.

How long the data is kept

This site has no database and keeps nothing of yours. It writes down nowhere what you do here: there is no counter, no session and no visit record of ours.

The request logs your IP address appears in belong to Cloudflare, are made by Cloudflare, on Cloudflare infrastructure. How long they are kept is decided by Cloudflare, under its own policy, and not by this site — we cannot promise a figure we do not control.

Whatever you write by WhatsApp or by email lives in the Navigare account and inbox, and how long that correspondence is kept is decided by Navigare — also not by this site.

Who the data is shared with

Two companies sit between you and Navigare, each with a strictly bounded part of the job, and for different reasons. Neither of them receives more than what is described below.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)

Hosts the site and serves every page, so every visit passes through it. Like any hosting provider, it records the usual request data, including your IP address, in its own operational logs. It is the only company processing data of yours on our behalf while you are merely reading the site, and it receives no name, no email address and no message, because this site asks for none of the three.

WhatsApp

Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States)

Carries the conversation, and only comes into play if you choose that channel. It is not a company we hired to process data on our behalf: WhatsApp is a third-party platform with a privacy policy of its own, and by opening the link you are on it. What Navigare receives is the conversation and the number it came from. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email reaches the same team.

Typefaces are served by the site itself: no request leaves your browser for a font provider. With the contact form off the air, this site loads no third-party component at all — no anti-robot check, no measurement script, no chat widget. The two channels above are links: nothing is fetched from outside until you click.

International transfer

Cloudflare, Inc. and Meta Platforms, Inc. are companies headquartered in the United States, and part of the processing happens outside Brazil. This is an international transfer of data: for the hosting it is inherent to how the site works; for WhatsApp it only exists if you choose that channel.

No data collected on this site is sold, assigned or shared with third parties for advertising, profiling or any marketing purpose.

Your rights

Article 18 of the LGPD grants you, over the data described here:

  • confirmation that processing exists, and access to the data;
  • correction of incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date data;
  • anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed outside the law;
  • portability to another provider, under the terms of the regulation;
  • deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
  • information about who your data has been shared with — the full list is above;
  • information about the option not to give consent and about what happens if you do not;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • review of automated decisions — we make none about you: this site does not assess, rank or score anybody.

To exercise any of them, write to contato@navigare.com.br. A deletion request needs no justification: just ask.

Cookies and what stays in your browser

This site uses no tracking, advertising or audience-measurement cookie, and loads no analytics script. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Two things are kept in your browser, both by your own choice and neither of them able to identify you: your light or dark theme preference, in local storage, which never leaves the browser; and the language you picked in the switcher, in a cookie that lasts 1 year and that the server reads only to decide which language to open the home page in. Without that cookie, the language of the home page is decided by what your browser declares it prefers, in the Accept-Language header.

No third-party component is loaded by this site — on any page. While the contact form was published, the anti-robot check was fetched from Cloudflare servers as you got near the contact section; with the form off the air, that fetch no longer happens and nothing is requested from an outside domain.
